This was one of the models i was looking forward to this year. Yes it is a model of a deer. However for a collector like me it is a lot more. I have bought animal toys of alive animals that are similar to extinct ones. So when someone like papo who actual make a rare prehistoric model like the Megaloceros then i have to buy it. The model is well made with good detail. Its has a sleek body which makes the antlers all the more distinctive. Also it has a fat hump on the back which is based on cave drawings. The model also scales up well with other prehistoric mammals like safaris prehistoric men series. I like the fact that papo being a french company have done a few prehistoric mammals that lived there. Really fast service from everything dinosaur. I had it within two days.
