Delivery Policy

Delivery charges are based on the weight of the goods ordered. At Everything Dinosaur, we don’t believe in charging excessive fees for postage and shipping. Where possible we try to subsidise delivery charges offering a discounted courier service (signed for 3-day parcel service) for deliveries to the UK mainland.

For orders totalling more than £25.00 Everything Dinosaur offers a subsidised delivery option:

– the Saver Rate for orders between £25.00 and £49.99 parcel service just £4.99

– the Super Saver Rate for orders over £50.00 parcel service just £6.94

Our shipping and postal charges are calculated on the Royal Mail, ParcelForce Worldwide or Courier service rates, depending on the most appropriate and cost effective service for delivery of goods. We do add a small fee onto the cost of each transaction to cover packaging, packing and handling.
Orders received by 1pm are usually despatched on the same working day. Orders placed on a Saturday/Sunday will be despatched on the next working day. To assist with the rapid turnaround of orders; we sometimes pack and despatch orders on Saturday mornings. Delivery times given are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. In the event, that ordered items are out of stock, a member of staff will contact you to confirm a delivery date.

UK Deliveries

For deliveries within the UK, we offer a range of delivery options, from Royal Mail services and our own discounted delivery services including a UK courier service. To help save customers postage; Everything Dinosaur has introduced two additional UK postage rates. For orders between £25.00 and £49.99 a subsidised postal service – the Everything Dinosaur Saver Rate, charging just £4.99 for delivery. For orders over £50.00 Everything Dinosaur offers a further subsidised postal service – the Super Saver Rate, charging just £6.94 for delivery.

The Everything Dinosaur Saver Rate and the Super Saver Rate are available for UK retail deliveries only, our aim is to deliver within 3-5 working days. The maximum weight of parcel for this service is 20 Kgs.

In instances whereby no preferred carrier option is stated, items that weigh up to 1 Kg, will be despatched by First Class Royal Mail post. For items that are heavier than 1 Kg Everything Dinosaur reserves the right to select the most appropriate postage option for that parcel.

European Union Deliveries

Orders are usually despatched within two working days. Orders placed on a weekend will usually be despatched on the next working day. Postal charges are based on weight.

We are able to offer pre-payment of taxes and duties to some international destinations – Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) when you select tracked shipping.

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): Everything Dinosaur (the seller) aims to take responsibility for import costs. Everything Dinosaur is collecting and paying customs duties and import taxes on behalf of customers.

Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and before placing an order for international delivery, you are required to check these details.

The buyer must meet any additional charges. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.

International shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities. Everything Dinosaur cannot be held responsible for any delay incurred in the delivery time due to customs withholding your order for whatever reason.

Other International Deliveries

Orders received by 1pm GMT are usually despatched on the same working day. Delivery is normally made within 4-14 working days of despatch depending on the destination and the choice of parcel delivery service made by the customer. Please ensure that local customs and excise regulations are adhered to. Everything Dinosaur will not be liable for non-delivery of items due to breach of customs regulations or the non-payment of any import duties.

For orders heading abroad, we provide a wide range of delivery options, from International Standard (Airmail), Tracked, Signed or Tracked and Signed (service offered is dependent on destination), we also offer International Parcel Service Delivery.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy

We want you to enjoy trading with Everything Dinosaur, however, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase(s), you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item(s), unopened, (with any packaging or seals or shrink-wrap intact). We will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

Everything Dinosaur will not refund, credit or exchange an item if it has been opened or tampered with and is not faulty. Under such circumstances Everything Dinosaur reserves the right to make an appropriate offer as goods will be deemed to be second-hand.

A full refund for the cost of the item(s) excluding postage and packing will be made within 14 days of receipt of the goods. A receipt of posting must be obtained and sent to Everything Dinosaur separately from the returned parcel along with proof of purchase. The goods must be returned at the consumer’s cost.

Returning a Damaged, Defective or Faulty Item

We will replace or refund faulty goods if they are deemed to be faulty on arrival. The returns period is extended to 30 days in the case of faulty or damaged goods. This period starting from the time that you took possession of the goods (i.e. delivery received). To help us help you, goods to be returned complete with the original packaging material where possible, along with proof of purchase.

If we are unable to detect a fault, it may be necessary for Everything Dinosaur to return the items to the manufacturer for confirmation before we are able to supply a replacement or refund.

Reasonable costs for returning damaged, defective or incorrect items lies with the supplier and we will refund the customer for the return postage. We would request that customers use a recorded means of carriage.

In the event of Everything Dinosaur sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or incorrect item, you must return the original item to us within 14 days. If you do not send the original item to us by the end of the 14-day period, we reserve the right to charge an amount equal to the price of your original order. We will not refund the cost of delivery and/or other services provided in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.

Return of Items you did not Order (Incorrect Items)

As soon as you realise that we have sent you an incorrect item (mistakes do happen, very occasionally, I’m happy to add), you need to send the incorrect item back to us at the Customer Service contact address.

We will make sure you are not charged for the incorrect item or postage for returning it and we will replace the item we sent you with the item you ordered, as quickly as we can.

Items returned within the 14-day Cooling-off Period

Customers located within the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within fourteen days of the day after the date the item was delivered.

If you withdraw from a transaction within the fourteen days cooling-off period, and there has been no error on the part of Everything Dinosaur, we will refund the purchase price of the item once it has been received back, so long as the item is returned unopened, (with any packaging or seals or shrink-wrap intact).

To cancel your purchase within the fourteen days cooling-off period, please contact Everything Dinosaur, using the contact details provided. Send the original item to us, complete with packaging. The cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you received your parcel.

We would request that customers use a recorded means of carriage.

Please note that the customer will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to Everything Dinosaur unless we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery note we are not able to issue a refund.

All equipment supplied is covered by the manufacturers own warranty.
