I purchased this fantastic model back in march & have only now got around to writing something about it! This is a fabulous model of Patagotitan Mayorum the sculpt & colour is great after seeing the skeleton cast at the Natural History Museum in London this is a great reminder of that & at around 40 cm long this model is approximately 1:100 scale which is nice as say something like a 1:40 scale model of Patagotitan Mayorum would be getting rather large for any model dinosaur collector’s collection. This model of Patagotitan Mayorum isn’t as long as my as my Eofauna Diplodocus carnegii which is 1:40 scale & is getting on for approximately 60 cm in length but when you take into account that they are not made to the same scale that really makes me think just how big Patagotitan Mayorum must have been! There is still debate over which dinosaur was the biggest of them all & therefore the biggest land animal that has ever lived is it Argentinosaurus or Patagotitan Mayorum it would be close I think but my money is on Patagotitan Mayorum as the skeleton that is currently on display at the Natural History Museum I’m London isn’t fully grown so there is potential for an even bigger specimen to be found but also the cast that is on display is made up of casts of bones from at least 6 individuals to make the single big one.
