My second favorite species of ceratops right behind the styracosaurus. Beautiful figure. The details are as always at a high level. Despite the shared parts, it stands out from other figures in the series, although the head could have been a bit more polished in terms of modeling. The coat pattern is probably the most “realistic” of the entire series, based on the coat of Ctenosaura similis. Despite the unflashy coat, it still makes its presence known on the shelf. For people who collect figures from Botm or are fans of dinosaurs, this item is worth recommending.

I have so many favourite BOTM Ceratopsian figures. They’re all uniquely sculpted and with those amazing saturated pop art paint apps!! This little Einiosaurus is no exception and ranks highly in my collection, although many would consider this paint app to be much more constrained. In the hand those bold, striking, monochrome black and grey bands are reminiscent of dazzle camouflage. And then the effect is lifted to another level with the introduction of the rich, warm chestnut brown on the head, throat, underbelly and shoulders fading out along the back. With the localised use of pale tones and a touch of blue on the nasal horn, it’s a simple colour palette but very beautiful and it works so well, with great impact. It’s a fabulous head sculpt too. I love it.
Enjoy your dinosaur figures!!
