    Beasts of the Mesozoic 1/18th
    Dryptosaurus aquilunguis.

We receive a Tearing Eutyrannosauria lizard
figure as is with all BOTM, it is the highest spec from sculpt to articulation to the stunning paint apps takes inspiration from the extant Harris Hawk.
My preference for Cope’s old name Laelaps “Storm Wing” still holds true ah well a mites need strong names too.

At a length of 16 inches.

With a marvellous 22 points of articulation from snout to tail tip and extra legs & feet.

Collector’s card & box art by the renowned paleo-artist
    Shannon Beaumont.

Final Thoughts: of particular interest is the
figure’s glorious long arm and massive claws and the eyes are particularly well defined truly life like indeed.
The plumage is very natural reminds of Asian game fowl very similar with the exposed areas of the body.
Always took my fancy that D.aquilunguis was a temporal contemporary of the T.rex, and I never regarded it as basal or primitive but unique, evolving its own niche as the apex predator of the island continent of Appalachia.

Final Thoughts: David Silva’s pure genus gave us an unbelievable, beautiful series of the dawn and sunset of the Tyrannosaurid family.

Truly, these are collector’s pieces, and all of mine BOTM Tyrannosaurus series will remain M.I.B.
