I had been keenly awaiting the batch of new arrivals from PNSO at Everything Dinosaur and this Lambeosaurus was the model I was anticipating most eagerly. It has not disappointed and I can recommend it without reservation. It is a supremely elegant figure. The reticulated pattern over the body, reminiscent of a giraffe, works very well. The paint is carefully applied, with some good gradations from darker green to paler greenish/beige under the belly and neck and down the tail that picks up very attractively the stronger orange on her eye-catching crest (for display) and carries on down her spine. Her little “hooves” are in line with research, and despite their looking so slender, she balances perfectly on her legs. The pose is attractive too: as so often, the artists at PNSO manage to create the illusion of catching an animal in a quick wild-life snapshot. I like the way they avoid extremely dramatic action and show an animal in the course of its daily activities. A lovely model.
