I have wanted to buy this Scelidosaurus model for a while. The main reason being that it is not a well known dinosaur. I always remember this dinosaur as a kid as it was the forerunner of stegosaurs and ankylosaurs. Also the only other dinosaur model of this dinosaur was the British museum one. This one is far better of the two. This one is eleven years old and it has aged well. The scelidosaurus model came out at the same time as the woolly mammoth and the quality is the same. The quality is good but over time I can see how collecta have improved. The model itself is a bit darker than it is in the photo. Also it is lighter than newer models.The detail is good.Especially the horns. As a kid growing up in the 80s the toy dinosaurs were never accurate as they are now. How times have changed. The parcel came within two days. Fast top service from everything dinosaur.Top marks.
